A soul is healed by supporting and providing opportunities for children to succeed. Let’s share in our children’s dreams, as they learn to grow with our inspiration and their creativity

Art Therapy provides children a tool to express their thoughts, feelings and how to communicate to others when words are hard to find.
Children, just like many adults, need to be given the tools to develop cognitively and emotionally. It can help with:
* Emotional and Cognitive issues – whether over a life changing event or everyday challenges
* Stress and anxiety – Everyday life challenges, peer pressure, living situations
* Trying to fit in when it seems you are on the outside – this comes in so many forms: school, sports, socially
* Physical conditions – whether it be physical or communication needs, and finding ways to adapt
Having children utilize art therapy provides a natural resource that helps build the child’s mental health and a sense of self. It provides our youth the tools to express themselves while teaching them to regulate themselves and work through anxiety and everyday stressors.
The benefit of utilizing art therapy is to facilitate positive changes in the child’s thoughts and behaviors. It builds self-confidence and a means for self-regulation during stressful times.
Creativity becomes the tool that opens doors to much success. Remember The Children Youth Services focuses on the child, providing access to services, financial support, or art tools that allows creativity to grow as they express themselves freely.
